About the role
OpenRoad Honda Burnaby is seeking a fully licensed automotive technician to join its Service Department. You will work in a high‑performance shop, delivering quality repairs and continuous learning opportunities while earning a competitive salary.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership and factory standards, including complex electrical and engine issues.
- Receive repair orders, understand customer concerns, complete work accurately, and document all actions.
- Identify additional safety or service needs and communicate them clearly to Service Advisors.
- Coordinate with Advisors, Parts, dispatch, and fellow technicians to keep workflow efficient.
- Road‑test vehicles when required and ensure repairs are correct before return.
- Support and mentor apprentice technicians as assigned.
Required profile
- Fully licensed automotive technician with a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
- Strong diagnostic abilities and a quality‑first mindset.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage time independently.
- Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to know when to ask for help.
