About the role
Kiewit is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal Department in a Canadian hub office. The role offers the chance to work across a range of legal functions, supporting both corporate and construction‑focused business units.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and assistance to the company and its various functional groups.
- Manage litigation matters and dispute resolution.
- Review, negotiate, and draft construction and engineering services contracts, sub‑contracts, and material supply agreements.
- Act as dedicated legal support for business units and profit centres.
- Engage with senior management on legal strategy and risk mitigation.
Required profile
- Mid‑level experience with transactional, corporate and/or litigation matters.
- Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving and judgment abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
