About the role
Lindsay Kenney LLP is seeking a motivated Legal Administrative Assistant to join its West Vancouver office. The role supports lawyers by handling client intake, document management, billing, and day‑to‑day office operations in a fast‑paced legal environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform conflict searches, open files, verify client information, and prepare retainer letters.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files and documents.
- Format legal documents and manage time entry and billing processes.
- Generate monthly Work‑In‑Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reports.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including courier services.
- Conduct bank runs as required.
- Welcome visitors, answer phones, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Receive payments, record receipts, and manage cash handling.
- Coordinate lawyers' calendars, schedule meetings (in‑person, telephone, video), book boardrooms, and set up virtual meetings using Zoom and Teams.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant.
- Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited post‑secondary institution.
- Strong organizational ability and capacity to manage high‑volume work with shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands and deadlines.

What we offer
- Competitive salary range of $56,000‑$65,000 per year.
