Lead Internal Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Internal Communications Manager to shape how employees experience our mission, strategy and culture across Canada. Reporting to senior leadership, you will design and execute high‑impact communication programmes that translate business priorities into clear, compelling narratives for global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global internal communications strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end planning for major moments such as all‑hands meetings, leadership updates and organizational changes.
• Partner with senior executives to craft messaging, refine narratives and advise on high‑stakes communication scenarios.
• Build scalable frameworks, templates and best practices to ensure consistency across functions.
• Translate complex initiatives into accessible stories for diverse employee audiences.
• Define and track effectiveness metrics, using insights to improve engagement.
• Manage executive communications including speeches, presentations, AMAs and internal announcements.
• Collaborate with People, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Brand teams to maintain message alignment.
• Support culture‑building and employer‑branding efforts through internal storytelling.
• Leverage modern tools, including AI‑assisted workflows, to increase efficiency while maintaining editorial quality.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in internal, executive or corporate communications.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise‑wide communication strategies with measurable impact.
• Experience supporting organizational change and high‑visibility leadership messaging.
• Strong analytical mindset for defining and interpreting communication metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
