Law Clerk

About the role

Intact is seeking a motivated Law Clerk to join its growing legal team. You will support attorneys and counsel in a dynamic environment, helping to manage case files, draft pleadings, and coordinate discovery activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage practice files and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Draft pleadings, applications, and motion materials.
• Prepare and track undertakings, including correspondence with counsel and drafting motions to compel.
• Arrange Independent Examinations, retain experts, and prepare briefing materials.
• Review production documents, create pre‑discovery lists, and summarize medical records.
• Prepare affidavits of records, letters of instruction, and expert retainer packages.
• Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, leveraging AI tools where appropriate.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in law or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal documents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with counsel, experts, and internal teams.
