Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant works aboard the MV Saga X floatel located near Squamish, BC. This full‑time, rotational position (28 days on/14 days off) supports crew and guests by ensuring clean, well‑maintained linens and clothing.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and organize laundry items by type, color, and fabric.
• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
• Clean, dry, and press all laundry items to a high standard before return.
• Identify and treat stains and problem areas on garments and linens.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and inventory.
• Order and manage inventory of laundry supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations with a commitment to compliance.
• Valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety, Crowd and Crisis Management, and marine medical certificates (employer will support).
