About the role
Bureau Veritas Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support its environmental laboratory in Ste‑Foy, QC on a 6‑month contract with possible extension. The role involves routine lab tasks, sample preparation, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general laboratory support such as washing glassware, archiving samples, weighing, and homogenising.
- Carry out simple sample preparation and manipulation procedures prior to analysis while preventing cross‑contamination.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to maintain accuracy and quality, meet deadlines and organise work using summary reports.
Required profile
- Diploma in a scientific field with academic laboratory experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
- Dynamic, energetic, motivated with a positive outlook.
