Laboratory Analyst (6‑month contract)

About the role

Bureau Veritas Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for its environmental laboratory in Ste‑Foy, QC. This is a 6‑month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general support in sample analysis and perform complex sample preparation.
• Conduct analyses following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Meet quality control criteria for all reported data and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to deadlines, and contribute to corrective‑action procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology or biology.
• Laboratory experience (strong asset).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with good time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Dynamic, energetic, motivated with a positive outlook.
