Laboratory Analyst – Environmental Lab (Contract)

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas Laboratories as a Laboratory Analyst in an environmental laboratory located in Montreal or Ste‑Foy. This contract role supports sample analysis and complex preparation while contributing to high‑quality, reliable results.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general support in the analysis of samples and perform complex sample preparation.
• Conduct analyses following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Meet quality control criteria for all reported data and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to deadlines, and contribute to corrective‑action procedures.
• Use summary reports to plan and organize work and perform any related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology or biology.
• Laboratory experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with good time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Dynamic, energetic, motivated with a positive outlook.
