Quality Assurance Coordinator – Environmental Labs

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, implement, and improve the laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO/IEC 17025 and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation activities, including initial assessments, surveillance audits, and reassessments.
• Monitor quality assurance and control practices, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
• Act as primary contact for accreditation bodies and external auditors.
• Maintain controlled documentation, version control, and timely review of quality documents.
• Track quality indicators such as QC performance, proficiency testing, customer complaints, and deviations.
• Educate and train staff on the Quality Management System and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or Diploma in Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Strong science background with experience in laboratory practices.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality assurance and control programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write reports and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
