Laboratory Technician – Particle Size

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas Laboratories as a Laboratory Technician focused on particle size analysis. You will work in a collaborative environment, handling soil sample preparation and gravimetric analysis to deliver high‑quality results for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform gravimetric analysis and operate laboratory instrumentation for particle size determination of soil samples.
• Prepare, label, and store samples, sub‑samples, reagents, and standard solutions according to SOPs.
• Organize daily sample workflow to meet turnaround time and holding‑time requirements.
• Record raw data, maintain instrument maintenance logs, and report results using Excel and LIMS.
• Ensure laboratory housekeeping, glassware cleaning, and compliance with quality specifications.
• Provide status updates to the supervisor and support overtime or weekend work as needed.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (B.Sc. preferred) with knowledge of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques.
• Strong analytical laboratory skills, good organization, multitasking ability, and capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and oral communication and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
