Junior User Support Engineer (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

Join the IT team at TRADER as a Junior User Support Engineer on a 6‑month contract. You will provide friendly technical assistance to internal employees while building hands‑on experience with Windows, macOS, and cloud collaboration tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver responsive technical support to end users onsite and remotely.
• Assist with IT incidents, service requests, and user inquiries.
• Set up, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS laptops, mobile devices, and applications.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets within defined service levels.
• Document issues, solutions, and updates in the service management system.
• Collaborate with IT team members to resolve escalated issues.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including device setup and account access.
• Follow IT security policies and contribute to support documentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Foundational understanding of computer hardware and mobile devices.
• Interest in learning Active Directory, Okta, and emerging AI tools.
• Strong communication, customer‑service mindset, and eagerness to learn.
