Senior Software Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

d1g1t is a fast‑growing fintech platform that modernises wealth‑management operations for financial advisors and institutions. As a Senior Software Engineer you will own end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects, from design through deployment, while maintaining and improving existing services that handle very large data sets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to define functional requirements and shape the solution.
• Design, develop and deploy high‑performance Python/Django services on AWS.
• Drive projects from conception to production, ensuring quality, scalability and reliability.
• Write well‑tested, maintainable code and mentor peers.
• Maintain and optimise the existing codebase and data pipelines.

Required profile

• Highly analytical, communicative and proactive with a results‑driven mindset.
• Strong problem‑solving ability to balance practical and optimal solutions under tight timelines.

Required skills

• Python and Django (or similar web framework).
• Extensive experience with AWS services: EC2, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL, and performance tuning on large data sets.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Celery, Redis and Git.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug large, complex codebases.
