Junior IT Support Technician – Niagara Region

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment in the Niagara Region. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, providing hands‑on assistance for Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic network connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and resolve IT incidents and service requests via ticketing system and phone.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops, including performance, login, software, and peripheral issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Perform user account tasks: password resets, account unlocks, MFA enrollment, and basic access requests.
• Diagnose and resolve printer and network printer issues, including scanning and print queues.
• Provide Wi‑Fi and device connectivity troubleshooting from an end‑user perspective.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding, setting up workstations and user accounts.
• Document all actions in the ticketing system and escalate complex issues as needed.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast‑moving environment.
• Post‑secondary education in IT or related field is preferred.
