Junior Internal Auditor – Hybrid (Montreal)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit department at our Montreal headquarters. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote and on‑site work, providing hands‑on experience with operational audits and Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) in a large, publicly‑traded organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the internal audit team in planning and executing audit engagements, following professional standards and terminology.
• Prepare accurate, logical, and detailed work‑papers that document testing procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Participate in audit kickoff meetings, process walkthroughs, and close‑out sessions.
• Collaborate with various business units to understand departmental functions and gather necessary information.
• Utilize audit tools and technology to improve efficiency and support continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and corporate integrity standards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are considered an asset.
