Junior Developer (Mobile + AI-Native Workflow)

About the role

Join Kodeon’s engineering team to build consumer‑focused mobile applications. You will work directly with the CTO and senior engineers, contributing to production code from day one while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Ship features and fix bugs across iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Flutter, and React Native apps.
• Utilise shared infrastructure such as RevenueCat, Firebase, and the AppLife SDK.
• Employ AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) for planning, coding, reviewing, and debugging on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with senior engineers during code reviews and design discussions.
• Assist in releasing updates to the App Store and Google Play.

Required profile

• Recent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least one mobile app you have built that you can discuss in detail.
• Working knowledge of Swift, Flutter/Dart, or React Native (one is sufficient to start).
• Fluency with AI development tools, able to craft prompts, evaluate AI‑generated code, and use AI for research and debugging.
• Strong Git fundamentals, comfortable reading unfamiliar codebases, and good written communication.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
