Desktop Support Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT Support team in Oakville. The position is hybrid, combining onsite and remote assistance for an enterprise environment. You will be responsible for maintaining endpoint security, deploying software, and delivering a seamless end‑user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced desktop support for hardware, software, operating systems, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Manage and support endpoint devices using Intune, SCCM or MECM.
• Deploy software packages, patches and configuration updates across the organization.
• Perform desktop patching and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Support account access, password resets, MFA and user profile management.
• Diagnose workstation performance, connectivity and application issues.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with service desk, infrastructure and security teams on escalated issues.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with hardware lifecycle management.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Desktop Support or End‑User Computing within an enterprise.
• Strong hands‑on experience with endpoint management platforms (Intune, SCCM, MECM).
• Proven experience with desktop patching, software deployment and endpoint security.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop technologies.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA and device management.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting or automation is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer‑service skills.
