About the role

The Supreme Court of Yukon is seeking a Judicial Advisor to support the Chief Justice and Court’s Legal Counsel. This permanent, full‑time position involves high‑level administrative work that ensures the smooth operation of the Judges’ Chambers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform executive‑level administrative duties to assist Judges.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Judges’ Chambers.
• Supervise the Judges’ Assistant and coordinate their tasks.
• Participate in overall Court administration and support judicial independence.

Required profile

• Completed Office or Legal Administration program.
• Experience providing administrative support to senior‑level executives.
• Strong diplomacy, confidentiality, and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Ability to handle fluctuating workloads and meet deadlines.
• Bilingualism (English/French) and supervisory or financial‑process experience are assets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
