Journeyperson & Apprentice Electricians

About the role

Sideworx Connect is hiring Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians for short‑term, seasonal projects across Western Canada. The role involves installing and dismantling modular camp structures, requiring strong carpentry knowledge and the ability to travel to remote sites.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and follow technical documents and drawings for electrical and carpentry work.
• Operate electrical and manual equipment such as powered saws, hammers, and measurement tools.
• Safely lift, carry, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform basic math calculations for material needs, costs, and measurements.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Journeyperson certification, Interprovincial Red Seal, or a valid apprenticeship.
• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) and Standard First Aid & CPR certification.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work on remote projects for multiple weeks.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check.
