About the role

Canam is looking for a production journeyman in Lévis to support the manufacturing of steel frames. The role involves working on the shop floor in a structured, safety‑focused environment, learning to operate CNC machines and overhead cranes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform various tasks that support the production stages of steel frames.
• Operate and maintain CNC equipment under supervision.
• Learn and safely operate overhead (crane) equipment.
• Ensure product quality meets client specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Willingness to be trained on CNC machines and crane operation.
• Ability to work evening or night shifts as scheduled.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
