IT Training Lead

About the role

The IT Training Lead will establish and evolve the enterprise training practice within the organization’s IT department. Reporting to senior leadership, this role designs high‑impact learning solutions for technology platforms and mentors a team of training practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise IT training strategy aligned with business goals.
• Standardize training methodologies, tools, processes and best practices.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of training practitioners, including hiring and capability development.
• Oversee design, development and delivery of training programs for software applications and systems.
• Conduct training needs analysis to ensure solutions meet business and learner requirements.
• Ensure quality, consistency and effectiveness of training delivery across the organization.
• Partner with IT leaders, business stakeholders and vendors to align training initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring outcomes and incorporating emerging learning trends and technologies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in training and development, including leading enterprise training teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Education, Instructional Design or related field; CTDP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training for enterprise technology platforms and applications.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate complex concepts into practical learning solutions.

Required skills

• LMS solutions development and maintenance.
