IT Support Specialist II

About the role

Prenuvo is seeking an IT Support Specialist II to provide first‑line technical assistance to employees, ensuring minimal downtime across its Vancouver office and clinic sites. The role blends hardware, software and cloud support with a strong focus on automation and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver internal technical assistance for end‑user and server hardware, as well as enterprise cloud platforms such as Okta, Atlassian, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Install, configure, maintain and support computers, servers and network equipment at clinic sites.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain and update documentation related to IT infrastructure and support.
• Administer Windows and macOS devices via mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
• Build scripts and automated workflows to streamline repetitive support and provisioning tasks.
• Uphold and reinforce cybersecurity policies to ensure systems follow best security practices.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in an IT service delivery environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and operating systems.
• Experience supporting both Windows client OS and macOS in an enterprise setting.
• Automation‑first mindset with proven scripting experience.
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL.
• Security‑focused approach to daily operations.
