Invigilator for Midterm Exams

About the role

The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University is seeking reliable invigilators to supervise a series of midterm examinations. You will work on‑site in various campus locations, ensuring a smooth and secure testing environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms according to specific layout and equipment requirements.
• Administer both electronic and paper exams, distributing and collecting materials as needed.
• Monitor student behavior, enforce exam regulations, and report any violations.
• Collect and secure mobile devices before the exam starts and return them afterward.
• Assist students with technical issues, direct them to IT support, and accompany them to washrooms when required.
• Gather completed exams at the end of each session and deliver them to the professor or exam administrator.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed exam procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and support staff.
