Infrastructure & Renewable Resources Co‑op Internship (Fall 2026/Winter 2027)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated co‑op student to join BCI’s Infrastructure & Renewable Resources (I&R​R) investing team for a 4‑month term in either Fall 2026 (Sept‑Dec) or Winter 2027 (Jan‑Apr). The role offers hands‑on exposure to infrastructure, timberland and agriculture investments across a global portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Work within an integrated deal team to conduct due diligence on private, public, debt or fund investment opportunities.
• Perform sector and sub‑sector research to generate ideas for new investments.
• Develop and analyse business cases for portfolio‑company value‑creation initiatives such as debt refinancing, expansion projects, management compensation and budgeting.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing portfolio companies.

Required profile

• Strong interest in investing, demonstrated through finance or portfolio‑management student organisations.
• Proficiency in building financial models (e.g., DCF).
• Experience with Bloomberg and Capital IQ platforms; pursuit of the CFA designation is a plus.
• Curious, analytical and able to communicate findings clearly.
• Team‑oriented and comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
