Independent B2B Sales Agent – Retail & Distribution

About the role

Luminante Inc. is seeking a self‑motivated Independent B2B Sales Agent to expand its network of boutique, concept‑store and gift‑shop partners across Canada. Working remotely on a full‑time basis, you will represent a brand that creates eco‑responsible, handcrafted candles made from 100 % plant‑based wax and recycled coconut shells.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new retail and distribution partners throughout Canada.
• Present the product portfolio, negotiate commercial terms and close sales orders.
• Identify sales opportunities and collect market feedback to inform product and strategy improvements.
• Train retail partners on product features, brand values and merchandising best practices.
• Maintain ongoing relationships, address client inquiries and ensure long‑term partnership success.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in retail or consumer‑goods sectors.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to conduct market and client research to support data‑driven sales strategies.
• Experience training partners or a clear aptitude for it.
• Familiarity with retail locations or real‑estate environments is an asset.
• Fluent English; French proficiency highly valued for the Québec market.
• Self‑organized, comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
