Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

Centerra Gold is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its corporate team in Toronto. This hybrid position provides day‑to‑day HR administration support to corporate employees and acts as a key liaison for remote sites without dedicated HR staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the HR team, handling employee inquiries and policy guidance.
• Serve as the first point of contact for general HR questions, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling, new‑hire paperwork, pre‑employment screening, and preparation of onboarding materials.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Process employee lifecycle events such as hires, terminations, leaves of absence, and status updates.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding activities, ensuring all documentation and system controls are completed.
• Support benefits administration, handling enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with privacy and legislative requirements.
• Assist with employee‑relations documentation and file management while preserving confidentiality.
• Coordinate and support HR communications related to benefits, programs, and other initiatives.

• Detail‑oriented approach to data entry and record‑keeping.
