HR Administrator

About the role

The HR Administrator will support Flynn Group’s Human Resources team in a fast‑paced construction environment. You will help attract, onboard, and retain talent while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Post and sort job advertisements, source resumes, conduct phone pre‑screens, arrange and sit in on interviews, and perform reference checks.
• Assist with new‑hire orientations and the full onboarding process.
• Track, document, and complete paperwork for organizational changes such as transfers and promotions.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide day‑to‑day HR support.
• Participate in special HR development projects and compile required reports.
• Attend job fairs, school outreach programs, and support the Regional HR team as needed.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a human resources role (preferred).
• Working towards or holding a CHRP designation is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain customer relations.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Reliable with solid problem‑solving abilities.
