Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the role

Join Sandman Hotel Group in Calgary as a Housekeeping Room Attendant. You will be the front‑line guardian of guest room cleanliness, ensuring every stay meets the brand’s high standards while enjoying a flexible part‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to Sandman Hotel standards, including bedding, bathrooms, and amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and follow proper handling procedures.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest and staff inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Report lost‑property items, maintenance issues, and safety hazards to the supervisor/manager.
• Perform laundry duties, stock linen rooms, and handle small mending repairs as needed.

Required profile

• No prior education or experience required; one‑on‑one training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Professional appearance, manners, and a respectful attitude toward guests.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) awareness.
