About the role

We are seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, boost profitability, and ensure excellent customer service at our Toronto location.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze budgets and monitor revenues to control labour costs.
  • Plan, organize and evaluate daily restaurant operations.
  • Recruit, train, supervise and review performance of staff.
  • Balance cash, complete balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Enforce provincial liquor legislation and health‑safety regulations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and clients for catering and supplies.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and event management.
  • Address customer complaints and provide high‑quality service.

Required profile

  • College diploma (1‑2 year program) or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
  • Smart Serve, First Aid, CPR, Food Safety and related certifications.
