About the role
The Host Ambassador supports Canada Homestay Network Society by connecting international students with caring host families in the Kitchener/Waterloo region. This part‑time, permanent role focuses on qualifying families, expanding the host community and ensuring a high standard of care.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify new and existing host families against Canada Homestay’s standards of care.
- Build and maintain relationships with families, providing guidance and support.
- Drive recruitment and growth of the host community within the assigned region.
- Coordinate evenings and weekends to accommodate families’ schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and report progress to the Program Lead.
Required profile
- Availability during weekday evenings and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Motivation to achieve recruitment targets.
