Host Ambassador (Part‑time) – Kitchener/Waterloo

About the role

The Host Ambassador supports Canada Homestay Network Society by connecting international students with caring host families in the Kitchener/Waterloo region. This part‑time, permanent role focuses on qualifying families, expanding the host community and ensuring a high standard of care.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify new and existing host families against Canada Homestay’s standards of care.
• Build and maintain relationships with families, providing guidance and support.
• Drive recruitment and growth of the host community within the assigned region.
• Coordinate evenings and weekends to accommodate families’ schedules.
• Maintain accurate records and report progress to the Program Lead.

Required profile

• Availability during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivation to achieve recruitment targets.
