About the role

The Home Support Worker provides essential personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance to elderly or disabled clients in their own homes. This role ensures a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for each client.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
  • Assist with medication administration and monitor health status.
  • Prepare, serve, and plan nutritious meals and therapeutic diets.
  • Support regular exercise such as walking and mobility activities.
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.
  • Handle light to moderate physical tasks, including lifting up to 23 kg.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Criminal record check and references required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
  • Personal qualities: punctual, dependable, patient, honest, and client‑focused.
