Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy‑Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Grafton, Ontario. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy trucks and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to identify faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose issues using computerized testing and other diagnostic tools.
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance against manufacturer specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and service attachments and working tools.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks and related equipment.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of experience in heavy‑equipment maintenance.
• Availability to start on the posted start date.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Experience in heavy truck repair.
• Strong equipment maintenance and lubrication skills.
• Ability to service attachments and working tools.
