Health Care Aide (HCA) for Pediatric Clients – Overnight

About the role

Classic LifeCare is seeking compassionate Registered Health Care Aides to provide overnight support for pediatric clients with complex medical needs in Calgary. This casual position allows you to work in the comfort of families' homes, delivering essential care during night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care for infants and children.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Support tube feeding and perform tracheostomy care.
• Provide respite care to give families relief.
• Complete basic documentation using a smartphone.
• Cover assignments across Calgary, including home, school, and community settings.

Required profile

• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Valid registration with the Alberta HCA directory.
• Current CPR certification.
• Clear criminal record check and up‑to‑date TB screening.
• Valid driver’s licence and vehicle access (asset).
• Located near or in Calgary with overnight availability.
