Family Physician – Primary Care Provider

About the role

Sunrise Medical Clinic Ltd is seeking a Family Physician to join its primary care team in Calgary. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages in a hybrid clinic setting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients, order diagnostic tests, and determine appropriate treatments.
• Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
• Prescribe medications, administer vaccinations, and provide health advice.
• Coordinate primary patient care and offer counseling on health and lifestyle issues.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine (or related fields such as dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry).
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and a clean criminal record check.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, client focus, and sound judgement.
• Willingness to relocate and work in an urban private practice setting.
