About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team at Kensington Community Care Home, providing compassionate support to residents in a nursing home setting.
Key responsibilities
- Supply and empty bed pans, take vital signs, and serve meal trays.
- Assist with patient mobility, including lifting, turning, and positioning.
- Maintain patient rooms, make beds, and manage inventory of supplies.
- Supervise exercise routines and transport patients between facilities.
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Respond to call signals, administer first aid, and handle emergencies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1–2 years of experience in a nursing home or aged‑care setting.
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
