About the role
The salon is seeking a skilled hairstyling specialist to provide a range of hair and scalp treatments to clients in Edmonton. You will work closely with customers to deliver personalized styling, colour, and conditioning services.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on beauty care treatments, analyze hair and scalp condition, and suggest suitable styles.
- Cut, trim, style, colour, and provide treatments such as waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages.
- Supervise other stylists and staff, maintain inventory and order supplies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of professional hairstyling experience.
- Hairstylist Trade Certification.
Required skills
- Hair cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming.
- Hair colouring techniques: bleach, dyes/tints, frosting, streaking/highlights.
- Styling techniques: blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, relaxing, roller setting.
