About the role

The Guest Experience Assistant supports the Director of Guest Operations in delivering exceptional service at the Loden and Arden Hotels. This role manages check‑in and check‑out processes, responds to guest inquiries, and coordinates personalized experiences. It is ideal for detail‑oriented individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced boutique hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, ensuring a personalized welcome upon arrival.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, including payments, key issuance, and guest information verification.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns via in‑person, phone, or email.
• Coordinate with other departments to arrange transportation, special experiences, and local attraction recommendations.
• Handle guest complaints with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Support group check‑ins, event coordination, and VIP experiences as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; post‑secondary education in business or hospitality is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Highly organized, calm under pressure, and collaborative with other departments.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift up to 23 kg.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
