Group & Programs Manager

About the role

Aviva Canada is looking for a Group & Programs Manager to lead sales performance, strengthen key partner relationships and drive profitable growth across Group and Specialty Programs. The role is central to one of Aviva's largest global partnerships and suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys shaping a major distribution channel.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and revenue growth: lead ongoing performance management for sales and portfolio, serve as partnership owner for Group and Programs portfolios, and deliver and monitor sales plans and growth targets.
• Work with Sales Teams to identify new business development opportunities that drive growth and retention.
• Account and relationship management: act as primary contact for Group and Program relationships, prevent and reduce escalations through root cause analysis and process improvements, and work with the Partner on innovative solutions.
• Support the development, planning and execution of Group and Programs strategic plans and BAU deliverables, focusing on sales growth, volume expansion and customer experience.
• Partner with Digital Quote & Buy and Service teams to improve digital OKRs and increase Group digital sales, and align value propositions with the Partner's brand and strategy.

Required profile

• College or university degree in related fields.
• CIP, FCIP or ACIP designation preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in property and casualty insurance, including sales, servicing or account and relationship management.
• Experience in P&C sales and service or underwriting is an asset.

Required skills

• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce preferred.
• Analytical thinking, negotiation, business management and strategic problem solving.
