Generalist Recruiter for Corporate & Portfolio Companies

About the role

Beacon is scaling rapidly after a $225M Series C and needs a versatile recruiter to build its in‑house talent function and support hiring across its portfolio companies. You will own full‑cycle searches for a wide range of non‑engineering roles, both at Beacon’s headquarters and within its vertical‑market software businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for finance, marketing, sales, operations, M&A, and business development positions at Beacon HQ.
• Partner with General Managers of portfolio companies to fill senior, one‑off hires such as Product Marketing Managers, Heads of Sales, or Operations leads.
• Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously, adapting to different compensation bands, hiring standards, and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop hiring plans with functional leaders and act as a strategic talent partner.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, functional networks, referrals, niche communities, and AI‑assisted tools.
• Maintain clean pipelines, provide timely feedback, and ensure disciplined processes using the Ashby ATS.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑cycle recruiter handling diverse functions (finance, sales, marketing, ops, HR, customer success).
• Comfortable switching contexts quickly and collaborating with leaders who may be new to working with dedicated recruiters.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on metrics, pipeline hygiene, and process rigor.
• Strong partnership skills to influence hiring decisions and build trust across corporate and portfolio teams.
