Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with plant leadership in a fast‑paced, 24‑hour, three‑shift manufacturing environment supporting 220 employees. The role is highly visible and focuses on recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations using ADP Workforce Now.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary HR business partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, investigations, discipline and terminations.
• Manage high‑volume recruitment (5–20 hires at a time), onboarding, and retention strategies.
• Maintain employee data, process payroll changes, and ensure accurate documentation within ADP Workforce Now.
• Conduct investigations, handle employee relations matters, and maintain strong floor presence across all shifts.
• Track and report workforce metrics such as turnover, absenteeism and overtime, contributing to HR KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety team to promote safe work practices.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience supporting multi‑shift operations and strong problem‑solving ability.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to balance strategic and operational HR work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (timecards, shift schedules, payroll processes, HR reporting).
