General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

Chipotle is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its fast‑casual restaurants. In this role you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving the financial performance of the location.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain guest‑obsessed standards of hospitality, speed, accuracy and cleanliness.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, hiring, training, performance management and development of crew members, shift leaders and apprentices.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including scheduling, P&L control, sales forecasting and digital order fulfillment.
• Ensure food safety, operational compliance and a guest‑ready dining environment.
• Achieve financial targets, including annual sales and cash‑flow goals.
• Lead the restaurant during lunch, dinner and weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and a guest‑obsessed mindset.
• Friendly, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in people development.
• Previous restaurant management experience covering scheduling, P&L, food safety, sales forecasting and recruiting.
• Creative approach to marketing and community engagement.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, stand and walk for up to 10 hours daily and lift up to 50 lb.
