About the role
The General Construction Labourer will work on various construction sites, performing physically demanding tasks in a range of environments. The role requires flexibility to travel regularly and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Required profile
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, noisy, dusty, cold or hot conditions.
- Physically demanding work handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination and sound discrimination.
- Willingness to travel regularly and work overtime as needed.
- Must wear steel‑toed safety boots and a hard hat on site.
