Full‑Time Pharmacist – Patient Care & Pharmacy Management

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated full‑time Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy in Georgetown, Ontario. You will deliver direct patient care, support the Pharmacy Manager, and help maintain high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications, provide patient counseling, and perform all professional pharmacy activities.
• Manage dispensary orders and operate under the expanded scope of pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with other health‑care professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Supervise the pharmacy team in the manager’s absence and ensure opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain compliance with recall procedures, shrink control, and inventory management.
• Assist with scheduling relief pharmacists and handling emergency staffing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve complaints, and uphold store standards.
• Operate the cash register and perform related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Pharm degree from a recognized university.
• Registered Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Injection‑certified and Smoking Cessation‑certified.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer‑service abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PC systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using pharmacy software (Kroll).
• Injection certification.
• Smoking cessation certification.
