Full‑Time Pharmacist – Patient Care & Pharmacy Management

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated full‑time Pharmacist to join our Toronto pharmacy team. You will provide direct patient care, support the Pharmacy Manager, and help maintain high standards of service and store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all professional activities of dispensing, patient counseling, and pharmacy services.
• Manage dispensary orders and operate under the expanded scope of pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with other health‑care professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise the pharmacy department in the Pharmacy Manager’s absence and assume short‑term managerial duties.
• Ensure the pharmacy opens and closes according to schedule and complies with recall procedures.
• Assist with staffing coverage, inventory management, and paperwork.
• Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service and resolve complaints.
• Maintain store standards, monitor competitive activity, and support business development.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Pharm degree (4‑year university program) and registration as a Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Injection and Smoking Cessation certifications, both registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Organizational ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and be punctual.

Required skills

• Injection certification.
• Smoking Cessation certification.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software (Kroll) and PC systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
