Full‑Time Pharmacist – 1‑Year Contract

About the role

We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to manage the daily operations of a community pharmacy on a one‑year contract basis. The position blends patient counseling, medication dispensing, and inventory oversight while keeping the customer at the centre of every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy operations during shifts, ensuring accurate dispensing of prescriptions and over‑the‑counter products.
• Provide professional consultation to customers and health‑care providers, maintaining confidentiality and consent management.
• Maintain all required records in compliance with federal and provincial regulations, including Controlled Drugs and Substances Act reporting.
• Oversee workflow queues, stock levels, and expiry checks; place orders with wholesalers as needed.
• Control access to the dispensary, safeguard patient privacy, and handle incident reporting.
• Ensure the pharmacy’s appearance reflects a professional image and support financial reporting as required.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
