About the role
The Faculty of Science, Trades, Technology, and Design seeks full‑time professors to teach aviation technician programmes in Simcoe County. The role involves delivering courses in aircraft maintenance, avionics, and structural repair while fostering a high‑quality learning environment for students.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and assess courses in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics Maintenance, and Aircraft Structural Repair.
- Develop curriculum materials and maintain an effective learning environment.
- Report to the Program Liaison and contribute to programme planning.
- Participate in academic committees, student advising, and mentorship.
Required profile
- College diploma or certificate in an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) program in Canada, or equivalent RCAF aircraft maintenance education with Level‑A signing authority.
- Minimum five years of recent, hands‑on experience as a licensed AME or Level‑A RCAF technician.
- Experience in Transport Canada‑approved maintenance organisations or RCAF training establishments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and commitment to student success.
