Software Training Specialist (Clinical) – Canada

About the role

The Software Training Specialist (Clinical) prepares and delivers high‑quality training to new and existing customers, using adult‑learning principles and a range of instructional tools. The role focuses on continuous improvement of training processes, both online and onsite, to drive user engagement and long‑term adoption of PointClickCare solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and deliver classroom and virtual training sessions for customers, industry conferences, and internal sites.
• Promote and manage online learning modules (e.g., SmartZone) and create reinforcement strategies such as spaced‑learning campaigns and micro‑challenges.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to share insights, identify adoption challenges, and inform content enhancements.
• Mentor customer super users, deliver train‑the‑trainer programs, and assess post‑training knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in training, education, or a related field.
• Previous client‑facing training experience, preferably in the software industry.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Experience delivering training both in‑person and remotely.
