Digital Education and Instructional Designer

About the role

The Digital Education and Instructional Designer reports to the Director of Curriculum, Quality and Compliance and leads the creation of high‑quality, adult‑learning‑focused digital courses for Oxford International Career Colleges. Working remotely, you will partner with subject‑matter experts across campuses to transform content into engaging online learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to define course objectives, develop project plans and manage instructional design projects from start to finish.
• Design and develop interactive e‑learning modules, simulations and assessments using Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) and integrate multimedia elements.
• Apply Universal Design for Learning and accessibility standards to ensure all digital content is inclusive.
• Upload, configure and maintain courses in the LMS, manage user permissions, troubleshoot issues and generate performance reports.
• Evaluate project outcomes, gather learner feedback and implement data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering digital learning for post‑secondary or vocational education, including working with SMEs and managing end‑to‑end projects.

Required skills

• Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) authoring.
• LMS administration and content management.
• Multimedia creation and integration (video, audio, animation).
• Implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and accessibility standards.
• Project management and documentation.
