About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead the organization across health, education, social and community services. Reporting to the board, the CEO allocates material, human and financial resources to implement policies and programs, and represents the organization in official functions.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate resources and oversee implementation of organizational policies and programs.
• Authorize the creation of major departments and senior staff positions.
• Coordinate work across regions, divisions or departments.
• Establish objectives, formulate and approve policies and programs.
• Select middle managers, directors and other executive staff, delegating authority and ensuring optimal working conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in business administration or management.
• Education: no specific degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience overseeing budgets of $8,000,001 or more.
