Full-Time Dishwasher – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Best Western Plus Valemount is looking for a reliable, hardworking dishwasher to join its kitchen team. The role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and supporting smooth food service operations for hotel guests.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment following hotel hygiene and safety standards.
• Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines, keep them clean and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain a tidy dish pit, sinks, floors and surrounding areas, ensuring they are dry and organized at all times.
• Sort, stack and store cleaned items so they are readily available for kitchen and service staff.
• Perform basic kitchen cleaning tasks such as sweeping floors, wiping surfaces and removing garbage as needed.
• Communicate clearly with chefs, servers and colleagues about priorities, equipment needs and any delays.
• Work cooperatively with the kitchen team, assisting others during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow all health, safety and sanitation procedures and wear required protective equipment at all times.

Required profile

• Flexible availability for all shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to help in other areas when required and to receive training.
